5) The Adventures of Batman and Robin (SNES)
The Adventure of Batman and Robin released on Game Gear, Sega and Super Nintendo. It was based on a cartoon that aired on Fox Kids in the 1990's. The game had several levels where Batman could arm himself with different weapons. To advance a level he had to beat a famous Batman villain. The game became very popular mainly because of the great variety at each level and its similarity to the animated series of the 90's.
The game sold 0.3 million units by 2010 and also ranked the highest in popularity.
4) Batman: Arkham Asylum
Batman: Arkham Asylum was a pleasant surprise coming from developers Rocksteady who had earlier released Urban Chaos: Riot Response. Initial reviews about the game were positive and helped increase the game's popularity. As more people tried it out, the sheer awesomeness of the game became more evident. Since then it has come to be known as one of the best superhero video games to ever be produced. A total of 4.3 million units were sold making it the second best selling game of 2011.
3) LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes
LEGO Batman is quite different from the other Batman games as players can play as many other characters such as Aquaman, Superman or some villains. Each character has his won strengths and abilities that are uniques from those of other characters. THe game has a number of hidden secrets in Gotham City. It allows to players to take on different characters and explore and unlock secrets that are unique to the character, making each gameplay a unique and fun experience. The game sold a total of 1 million units and was among the top 10% of popular games in 2012.
2) Batman: Vengeance
Batman : Vengeance was made for PS2, GCN and XBOX by Ubisoft in a joint deal with Warner Brothers. This game was also inspired by a popular animated series that premiered in Kids WB. Since the game was released along with Warner Brothers, a number of voice actors from the TV cartoon series were able to lend their voice the characters in the game. The levels consisted of different environments with Batman having access to all his tools to destroy the villains in Gotham City. The game was popular due to the original story line, the sophisticated cinematics and the engaging gameplay. The game sold a total of 0.55 million copies world wide and ranks number two on this list.

Batman Arkham City is probably the best game to be made to date. This game took the Arkham Asylum to the next level and made it much better. The game had a much larger setting an bigger environments. In Arkham setting, villians are everywhere and the Dark Knight zooms around the city killing them and saving the City against crime. Added features such as solving the Riddler's riddles and collecting trophies around town made for an interesting challenge in this already awesome game. The game had all the possible Batman characters that could be added to one single game. Cat Woman, the Joker, the Riddler, Two-face are among the stars of the game. Batman Arkham City is hands down the best Batman Video game released to date. The total sales were a humongous 4.4 million all over the world and it was the top game for the year 2011.
